- An insider's view of US boarding-school life. Steve currently coaches varsity soccer inside an ISL prep program and maintains strong relationships with admissions officers and coaches, so the fit conversation runs both ways.
- A straightforward partnership. A monthly or annual retainer secures priority access to the pipeline; a success fee is due only when a placement is completed.

Showcases across Europe, direct access to the pathway
Throughout the year, Campo to Campus hosts its own Talent ID Showcases in major European cities. Each morning, players train in a session led by top American coaches; each afternoon, they play two 60-minute matches in front of Campo to Campus scouts and partner academy coaches. Every session and match is filmed, with a personal highlight video produced for every player, and players hear directly from Campo to Campus staff on the full scouting, recruitment, admissions, and placement process.
Steve Schechter
Steve has spent three decades coaching at the highest levels of American prep and club soccer, including 17 years coaching high-level NEPSAC programs. He currently serves as varsity boys soccer coach at Rivers School, an ISL independent school in the Boston area, and holds the NSCAA National Diploma.
As Senior Staff Coach at Global Premier Soccer from 2014–2019, his teams won five state championships at the U16–U19 level, and he has personally placed more than 75 players into college soccer programs, including five who went on to play professionally. His coaching has also taken him to Haiti, Tanzania, Uganda, and Kenya, running clinics and advising national federations. He is also co-founder of TapIn Sports, a youth soccer tournament and community platform — giving Campo to Campus a built-in network for organizing and promoting Talent ID events.
That track record comes with deep, hands-on expertise in the entire recruiting and admissions process, and genuine relationships with admissions officers and coaches at the schools and academies Campo to Campus works with — the kind of access that only comes from decades inside the system.
Every placement is led personally by Steve, backed by a growing Campo to Campus team of scouts and admissions coordinators across Italy and the US — so families and partner schools get dedicated support at every stage, not just one person's bandwidth.
The team is also growing to include a dedicated Director of Girls' Soccer, leading the new girls' division with the same hands-on, personal approach that built the boys' program.
